Historic Vehicle Inspections

There will be compulsory inspection days each year and they will be held on  dates (and at times) to be allocated by the Historic Vehicle Registrar and publicised in the Southern Border Torque.

Vehicles will be inspected and the necessary paperwork completed on these Inspection days.

Membership must be renewed and all conditions required by the law for Conditional Registration to be met, before the end of the club financial year August 31st.

Bring along Log Book, current registration papers for signing and Statutory Declaration.  These will available to be completed (or download a pdf copy of the statutory declaration – 537kb) in front of attending JP.

If the vehicle is in joint names, both / all registered owners must come along to sign.

Historic Vehicle Registrar John Hill has advised that he will no longer be chasing members to do their inspections, so you must attend on either of those days or miss out.
